March 2017,
I decided to spend most of my time quilting at this retreat. Quilting some of the smaller quilts that I have to get done for this years Wine Country Quilt show. I also had Audrey show/teach me how to applique with multiple layers of freezer paper. However the pattern I picked was probably not the best for the first timer. The pattern was Boneyard Buddies by Desiree's Designs. I did not find the technique to my liking, even though Audrey is a great teacher.
I first quilted the pincushion project from Sandra Bruce's class.
I then quilted the fabric challenge from Mostly Modern as there is to be a display of them in the show. I made "stairs" in stabilizing stitch and then did a different motif in each set of stairs.
I then quilted the Tiger I made in Rob Appell's class at Sisters a few years ago.
I then began quilting this Row by Row quilt from 2015, "Water". But finished it at home.

Medallion Round 4 for 2016/2017
March 2017
I starred at this medallion for several weeks.
I thought I would do some paper pieced sewing icons but didn't feel like doing paper pieces. I had purchased the black sewing machines on white background while at Road to Ca in Jan. I saw a medallion from a few year ago and really like one of the borders and it was from 60 Pieced Quilt Borders book by Judy Laquidara, border option #27. I had to modify the block a bit as the sewing machine print is not square. I have mixed feeling about the results.

Healdsburg Quilt Show entries
This is the first time I entered any quilts in the Healdsburg Quilt show at Healdsburg Senior Living at 725 Grove Str. It is a one day show.
Febuary Guild block of the month
South Rim 2015 Row by Row
June 20, 2016 I started working on it. There is enough fabric to make two so I did. I'm planning on selling one and putting the other in for a medallion program.
March 2017, I took this to Walker Creek Retreat but didn't get a chance to quilt it. So once home I did quilt it.
April 1, 2017 I entered this in the Healdsburg Quilt show which is at the Healdsburg Senior Living
June 2017, Sold at Wine Country Quilt show boutique for $75.
