Sew-in-place during pandemic

Bonnie Hunter created a sew-in-place a few weeks into the pandemic shut down.  Several people in the guild love Bonnie Hunter patterns and I have lots and lots of scraps so I decided to join in.  This is the "center".
This is after week two.
I started week three and just couldn't continue.  It was too many of the exactly the same thing and nothing I wanted to spend my time on.  I then asked my friends over and over who wanted it.  I finally got Dena to agree to take it!  Yeah!

Dena then took it to the Harmony Ridge retreat and completed it.  So nice!

Jinny Beyer Basket Block of the Month

June 2015

I discovered Craftsy.  When I mentioned to a few people they all seem to be aware of it and I'm the one out of the loop.  I fell in love with this Jinny Beyer block of the month kit that was on sale.  The colors just awed me.

Here is the first block.

2019 Quilt Club was doing baskets.  I decided I would work on this UFO instead in hopes to get it done.  Notice that the last block does not have seam allowance on edge of basket.  Fustrated! Became a UFO again!

I placed this project on my 2020 UFO list to complete two more blocks and one of those blocks needs to be an applique block.  I started working on these prior to the UFO being picked. Once I got momentum I kept making the blocks and completed all blocks while at Harmony Ridge retreat during the first week in June.

Completed the quilt top in June.  I did not add the "gold" fabric in the sashing as the pattern indicated as it was too much.  Plus I made a mistake in cutting the stripe fabric.  I like my version better.
