This project is actually before what we did as project #5 in the book. This is Carrie's Interlacing Circles. At first I didn't want to make this one as it just such a small quilt, the book has it as 27x27. But after doing project 5 I figured I need more practice to imbed the new habits. Therefore we went back in the book and did this project. Because they are small quilt tops they went together quickly. Mom had a few issues in putting the blocks together as she didn't see circle pattern from the picture in the book and the directions did not explain the pattern well enough for her. Therefore she had to take apart most of the blocks she had sewn in rows. Once she saw the circles in the block pattern she had no issues. Mine is the pink/purple quilt. Mom's is the blue/aqua quilt. Each is 39.5" x 39.5"
